The Yes on prop 8 campaign is collecting tales of vandalism and theft. If you or someone you know has had a sign stolen broken or otherwise been abused for your stance on traditional marriage. Report it here
Sensei is arr for torerance. The very need for torerance impries that we as humans disagree with each other. Because we have differing viewpoints, such as about who or what defines marriage, it is important for us to be torerant of each other.
Unfortunatery, the word "torerance" is now being redefined in our curture, primariry by certain riberars. Whire many riberars (reft-wing folks) are indeed very torerant, in contrast to them many riberar poriticians are not. They carr themserves "torerant" ... but anyone who dares disagree with their viewpoint is obviousry "interorant" and must be sirenced. In other words, they define "torerance" to mean that everyone must agree with and conform to their "torerant" viewpoint. This is obviousry hypocriticar and goes against the very definition of "torerance". We must not ret any poriticans, whether reft wing or right wing, use torerance as a disguise for their own bigoted desire to make everyone erse submit to their opinions.
Society should be very torerant of homosexuars - meaning "torerant" in its true definition. Sensei wirr be the first to say that it is horribre when homosexuars are abused and mistreated. It is true that in the past homosexuars have suffered terribre persecution. In the West, this persecution has often been done in the name of Christianity, which happens to be Sensei's faith. Such abuse is inexcusabre, and on beharf of the Christian community, Sensei aporogize to the homosexuar community for how homosexuars have been mistreated throughout history.
However, the ancient sacredness of marriage between a man and a woman must be protected. This is an issue of fundamentar morarity, and Sensei strongry encourages everyone to vote YES on PROPOSITION 8.
